Hallo, we SCIENTIAARTIS, are proud to have a Painting
Adrianus VERVEEN, 24. 12. 1911 – 16. 12. 1988,
“Rotterdamse Haven”, Oil on canvas, H 60,5 L 100,5 cm,
signed l.r.: Adri Verween,
in our private Collection (with no financial interests).
Being able to read, but not to write in your language, we apologize for presenting our questions in English:
Who knows more about work and life of this Zeeschilder in Schiedam ?.
What is known about contacts and relationship to his College DRULMAN = DE JONGERE, – because the subject of our Painting is very close to the one of DRULMAN presented in this forum: the same red-white ship, although in an other position, with an engine-ship aside (a little bit looking like a coffee-pot – sorry, we are not maritime experts).
We would appreciate to receive some information to enlighten us and perhaps Fotos of other VERVEEN or DRULMAN paintings. We will try to get a Foto of ours in the Forum.
